Overview
K12 Strong Workforce Program
The K12 Strong Workforce Program strengthens the pathways for students from secondary to post-secondary education, K12 projects create, support, and/or expand high-quality career education programs at the K12 level that are aligned with the workforce development efforts occurring through the colleges aligned with the sector work.
Goal of K12 Strong Workforce Program
The goal of the K12 projects is to expose students to the sectors and support their successful transition from secondary education to post-secondary education and ultimately, to career through partnerships with the following:
- School Districts
- County offices of education
- Charter Schools
- Regional occupational centers or programs operated by a joint powers of authority, provided that the application has the written consent of each participating local educational agency
